IT automation rises, engineering graduates' future uncertain

There is good sign that software companies dramatically improved their ability last year to earn more revenue while employing fewer people, reflecting the major transformation underway in a sector that has created a new middle class in India. This might be good news for technology companies but it might be a bad news for the companies who have been searching for jobs to make their career in IT industry as it will reduce the jobs by replacing with automation. We are moving up the value chain, getting more dollars for every hour of work. And more automation of existing work means we are hiring less and less to achieve the same growth said by research head of NAASCOM.
