Akshaya patra foundation which serves society by serving mid day meal to the children has been offered good number of jobs to the IIM Bangalore graduates this year with annual salary of just 6 lakhs which attracts students with the profile they have been offered.

This offer was very low that students expects at other companies which offered at IIM Ahmadabad last year. This NGO received nearly 50 reusmes from students for various positions like operations, resource, mobilization, business development and mangers. The other firms offering placements are banks, IT companies and start ups. Students are very much interested to join in social services firms and they can join after 2 or 3 years once they have gain experience.
