Hyderabad saw 13% rise in talent demand in Sep 2017: Study
The overall job market saw an upward trend of 3% rise in Aug 2016 to Sep 2017. However there has been a dip of 6% in talent demand in hiring trends in this quarter. Sectors such as IT/telecom and healthcare emerged as top hiring sectors of this month. September hiring trends reveal that there was 8% growth in the health sector as there was great demand for doctors and medical professionals followed by HR professionals. Location wise trends reveal that, Hyderabad saw highest rise in talent demand followed by Bangalore (6%) and Chennai (5%). On year on year trends reveal that Ahmadabad posted 9% growth and state wise trends reveal that Arunachal Pradesh saw 30% growth followed by Andhra Pradesh with 19% growth.
To hiring sectors according to the report are IT/telecom, Healthcare Travel hospitality. While top hiring locations are Hyderabad, Bangalore Chennai and finally top hiring Pro-files are Doctors Hospitality and Human Resources.

- Among top ten locations, Hyderabad reported 13% rise
- Bangalore posted 6% rise in talent demand, during the month
- Among states, Arunachal Pradesh saw rise of over 30% in demand
RECRUITMENT TRENDS BY EXPERIENCE
- Candidates with 10-20 and over 20 years of experience reported 3% rise
- Professionals with 2-5 years of experience posted 5% drop in demand
- Candidates with 5-10 years of experience witnessed 4% drop in demand
