How to get PF amount? PF withdrawal process has changed a lot recently making it easy to the applicant, now that an applicant can either apply online or offline. Individuals can apply offline by submitting the required forms at the EPF office or can apply online on the EPF portal. Individuals can chose for a final settlement or PF partial withdrawal or pension withdrawal benefit as per their choice.
Can I withdraw my PF? Yes, one can withdraw PF while in job for different reasons listed in the portal as Purchase of Home/plot, Construction of Home, Renovation or Repair of Home, Repayment of Home loan, Marriage of self/daughter/son/sister/brother, Post matric education of self/son/daughter, Closure of Company, Withdrawal prior to retirement.
For partial PF withdrawal one should have shared their details via Form 11, submitted bank details, have an active UAN and with the respective individuals aadhar linked to their UAN. It is important that the individuals DOJ and DOE are updated with the EPF database to apply for EPF.
Here are the steps to be followed to apply for PF online:
1. Visit the UAN portal
2. Login to your account using the UAN and other details.
3. Check if your employer approval is completed via the KYC, if not get the KYC status updated.
4. Click on the ‘online services’ tab in the top and go to ‘Claim
5. Now authenticate your Aadhar. Once you are able to authenticate your aadhar you can then fill the EPF withdrawal claim form. Once the form is submitted, you get to save the confirmation copy received.
Requirements that should be pre-checked PF amount withdrawal include Aadhar linked mobile number should be active, registered bank account is to be checked as the claim amount credits only into the registered account, make sure that all your details in EPF database match with those in Aadhar database.
