ESIC online application is made available for the benefit of the applicants. The new ePehchan card earlier known as Temporary Identification Card (TIC) is considered as permanent if it contains the Aadhar details of the holder or else you have to get them updated by approaching your HR department. 2 cards were issued to be used by the employee or his/her family members. The details of the family members along with a family photo are provided on the card. The ESIC Pehchan card online registration process starts with the self enrolment.
ESI card is issued in the name of the employee or the applicant thus making him/her as the insured person later. Soon after the TIC is received with the attestation by the employer, you’re supposed to submit the same along with the photograph at your nearest office. The final and permanent ESIC card will be in your hands after around 2 weeks of the completion of submitting the forms. ESIC online registration has simplified the process making individuals get and use their cards in time and use them when appropriately needed. TIC being valid only for 90 days, it is suggested to update yours and your family biometric and other details at the nearest office within 15 days from the date of receiving the TIC card so as to avoid any further concerns raised there after.
Unlike many other facilities that need updates in the cases like change of employment, loss or damage of card, an ESIC card remains the same. In the situation of loss or damage one can get a new card by visiting the nearest office and paying a minimum fee of 25/-. The ESIC card is valid for ever and is a permanent useful card.
