How to answer the interview question “are you willing to relocate”?
If you really looking for the job but struggle to relocate then you have to speak to the interviewer in a best way to the interviewer without losing your job winning chances. And if you are ok with these conditions then you need to inform the interviewer without losing any chances. The hiring manager looks for someone who can work full time with a sense of interest and flexibility, even though this is not mentioned in the job description they applied for. If the candidate is willing to move then its shows a passion and dedication towards those other candidates may not have. If you’re joining a company that promotes its employees through relocation then you have to be open to the new opportunity.
If the Answer’s “Yes”
If you are graduated and open to relocate then you are the right candidate to respond to this question with Yes. Your answer must reflect your flexibility and passion.
If the Answer’s “Yes, But Iam not interested Because [Reason]”
It’s known fact that you are interested but you are not ready to pick up and leave your current life for this. May be you are comfortable with your new life and not ready to relocate.
If the answer’s No
If you’re not prepared for this question and your answer would be NO. Here you need to understand two things. So be honest, don’t give much reasons why you’re not interested to relocate.
While concluding give a proper reason why you are not interested to relocate or express a proper opinion in discussing it. This is the way you can impress the hiring manager with your positive and professional attitude.
