Health care professionals saw 30% rise in demand: Hiring trends report

The overall job market saw an increase of 3%, from 66 in Aug 2016 to 68 in Sep 2017. In a buoyant employment market IT/telecom and healthcare emerged as the top hiring sectors of the month. The hiring trends report saw Y-o-Y increase of 8% in the healthcare sector from 87 in Sep 2016 to 94 in Sep 2017. Demand for doctors and medical professionals grew by over 30% in Sep 2017, followed by hospitality and HR professionals with 16% rise in demand. Among key locations, Hyderabad posted the highest rise of 13% in talent demand, as per the latest trends report. Bengaluru witnessed a rise of 6% in hiring activity followed by 5% rise in Chennai. On Y-o-Y analysis Ahmedabad posted a rise of 9% in talent demand. Amongst states, Wisdom jobs hiring trends saw growth of over 30% in Arunachal Pradesh and 19% in Andhra Pradesh.
