Engineering profiles saw 7% growth in demand in June 2018: Wisdom jobs hiring trend report
According to recent hiring trends report by wisdom jobs online job portal say s that the recruitment industry saw Y-O-Y growth in June 2018. Among cities Tier II cities saw most hiring activities and top cities like Jaipur, Vadodara, Hyderabad, Mumbai and DelhiNCR saw considerable growth in hiring as compared to May 2018. Top hiring sectors in June 2018 are cons durables, FMCG, BFSI, IT/Telecom and Top hiring locations in June 2018 are Jaipur, Vadodara and Hyderabad. Top hiring profiles in June 2018 are Sales/Business development, IT/Telecom, Customer services/tele calling etc. When comparing experience levels, most jobs found for people with experience level of less than 2 years. Professionals with more than 20 years of experience were also in strong demand.
RECRUITMENT TRENDS BY INDUSTRY
Consumer Durables/FMCG hired most professionals this month, followed by BFSI and IT sectors respectively.
● FMCG registered 11% growth as compared to May 2018
● BFSI noted 3% jump in hiring activities
● Healthcare was among top four hiring sectors
RECRUITMENT TRENDS BY FUNCTION
Sales/Business Development professionals were hired most in June 2018.
● Hiring was stable in accounting/finance and banking sectors
● Engineering profiles recorded 7% spike in demand
● Logistics noted 3% jump on M-O-M analysis
RECRUITMENT TRENDS BY LOCATION
Most recruitment happened in Tier II cities with Jaipur leading this tally.
● Hiring in Hyderabad was 2% up than May 2018
● Chandigarh noted 7% more talent demand
● Mumbai & Delhi-NCR were among top 10 hiring cities
RECRUITMENT TRENDS BY EXPERIENCE
Most hiring happened for junior professionals with less than 2 years of experience.
● This was the scenario in May 2018 also.
● Professionals with 20+ years posted strong demand Candidates with 5-10 years’ exerience noted least demand
● Professionals with 2-5 years of experience were also sought after
