India's e-commerce companies and startups such as Flipkart, Snapdeal, Quikr, Urban Ladder, PepperTap and CultureAlley are looking to hire aggressively from the top engineering institutes. E commerce giants like Flipkart and Snapdeal to double their technology team this year. Nearly 10% of IIT students joined e-commerce companies and the number may grow this time round. Other startups like Quikr and CultureAlley are also planning to recruit from campuses to get the best talent. In fact, IITs in Delhi and Mumbai are also expecting many more ecommerce firms including startups to visit the campuses this year. We are not limiting ourselves to any fixed number for campus hiring. We are rearing to go and will be aggressive at the tech, B-school and logistics campuses," said, senior director, human resources at Flipkart.
