A resume with up to date information and brief will always help you to grab the attention of employers.Recruiters always prefer resumes which are short and it is important to cut down the resumes which are long and lengthy with more than two pages. It is important to decide yourself that what information is important and what information need to be deleted. It can be done very easily if you could know the tips to cut your resume. Below tips may helpful to shorten your resume without losing the important information:


Job description:Reduce your job description to 3 most important points with necessary job description. It is also noted that there is no need to mention all of your job descriptions of your job. Take the most important points to save the space and reduce it to fewer pages. Include the points which are related to the job application. Mention about the points which are dealt with the job description and don't mention about internships and job titles which are not at all relevant with the required job profile.

Age discrimination:If you have experience or training which has been done about 10 years back then you need to be careful while considering for the job application. If it is not that much important then don't hesitate to remove it.

Cut your career objective:It is most common that keeping personal statement or career objective on top of the resume. Try to put it in a single sentence and short career objective will always grab the attention of employers.

Include references:Include references which are most relevant add add value to your profile.

Hobbies:Your CV is a reference of your professional details and it is not important to mention your hobbies unless and until the recruiters asked about it.
