The DHL group plans to increase its headcount by 15% to compete with Flipkart and Amazon.Currently DHL has 21000 employees across four divisions including DHL Express, DHL Global Forwarding, DHL Supply Chain and Blue Dart in India. DHL group globally employs 200000 people. It has increased its collective staff strength by 25% in the last two years.

The company is looking to expand its business plans which include increasing its aircraft fleet size and setting up warehouses. Globally, we have the fourth largest number of employees in India. We are starting new service centres and are investing into our infrastructure heavily. said DHL corporate board member HR.
