Recent report found that candidates from Tier II colleges have shown less attrition rates as compared to the candidates hired from Tier I colleges in BPM industry. BPM industry does not hire graduates based on their experience, but seek candidates from campuses. It is believed that new graduates will be trained to create world class professionals and impart those required skills for the business model. Hiring from Tier II and III cities has expanded the talent pool.

Any BPO need to build brand strong brand practices to get the benefit of campus hiring to overcome the standard challenges like offer drop and longer offer-to-hiring timelines. The report found that candidates from Tier-II colleges are ready to accept new roles and willing to take-up challenges. Hires from these colleges are accepting the offers for a considerable amount of time/tenure.
The increased job opportunities among competitive companies/industries with competitive pay benefits, increased cost of living made job candidates accept the offer only after due comparison between multiple opportunities. The pay benefits offered for the job depends on the skill set and complexity of the job. Even the salary expectation will be reached by the longer-term benefits such as training, career development and other benefits and incentives. Candidates with job experience will definitely have great pay benefits than those where prior work experience is not required.
