Andhra Pradesh government today issued an order enhancing the upper age limit for direct recruitment in government service from 34 to 40 years, opening up vast opportunities for unemployed youth. There was a official statement which says that "As the direct recruitment is being conducted after some gap, the need for enhancing the upper age limit from 34 years to 40 years is necessitated due to inevitability of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, and the consequent fall out, shrinking opportunities to the educated unemployed youth in the state This upper age limit is not applicable for some recruitments which require physical standards like police, excise, fire, prisons and forest departments . The state government has been identified the vacant positions and planning to fill all those from time to time.
