Hiring the right candidate in this generation is really a big task and companies spend a lot of time and a major portion of their budget allocated to the human resource team. Unlike the unconventional methods, recent technologies have just made the life simple of the HR professionals and convenient for the job seekers to get placed in the right job. We can anticipate that in the coming times this process gets smoother with developments happening constantly.

- Mobile recruitment has many times mentioned been as one of the hottest in the evolving trend of recruitment. As per the surveys conducted, more and more professional and employers are requesting that could assess candidates and shortlist on their mobile phones. This can bring a huge impact on the process of recruitment in the coming future. Well, it may not be available widely at this point of time, about 45 percent of HR executive interviewed like to allow candidates to do the tests through their mobile phones. By enabling the process of recruitment can become much easier for the applicants as well for the companies. However, there are few concerns of using these mobile phones in this process.

- About 25 percent of HR executive believes that it would be unfair if candidates are allowed to complete assessments through their mobile phones. Therefore, maximum individuals are positive about the possibility of using mobile phones during recruitment, feeling that it can make this process more effective.Recruiting through social media is opted by large number of companies are using or planning to use social media in their process of recruitment and about 60 percent are using it as a tool of hiring.

- However, if we talk about the number of companies which are finding it useful is quite less. Not more than 30 percent of HR executives feel that it is helpful in determining how well a candidate will fit and about 10 percent are considering it as a critical tool which helps in making the hiring decisions. This is the reason 1 out of every 5 companies have a formal process in place for using social media in appointment process and about 25 percent of recruiters and hiring managers are using the info gathered from social media as part of their decision making. Info available on any candidates' social media profile is not accurate every time and this makes it a little difficult in making the right decision. Social media is becoming the most common tool for the recruitment process but still needs to be planned carefully and thought about in order to offer any real benefits for organizations.
