- Mobile recruitment has many times mentioned been as one of the hottest in the evolving trend of recruitment. Not more than 30 percent of HR executives feel that it is helpful in determining how well a candidate will fit and about 10 percent are considering it as a critical tool which helps in making the hiring decisions. This is the reason 1 out of every 5 companies have a formal process in place for using social media in appointment process and about 25 percent of recruiters and hiring managers are using the info gathered from social media as part of their decision making. Info available on any candidates' social media profile is not accurate every time and this makes it a little difficult in making the right decision. Social media is becoming the most common tool for the recruitment process but still needs to be planned carefully and thought about in order to offer any real benefits for organizations.
