Many companies in the UAE are not offering career development opportunities, including staff promotions and fair performance appraisals. Over 83 percent of UAE employees are planning to quit their jobs to find better training opportunities elsewhere. The study has examined the employees' priorities and how employees feel about the career growth prospects in their company.

The study also determined that companies are failing to achieve the employees' career goals and aspirations which resulted in growing career frustration among many UAE employees. The study also found that study also found that, over one-third (35 per cent) of UAE employees have never had a promotion in their current company.
