According to a survey, recruiters prefer to hire candidates just because he or she fits the salary range over skill. Over 60 percent of surveyed recruiters mentioned that CTC is regularly given preference over skill sets as there is tremendous pressure to adhere to budgets.
The common blunder made by the recruiters is that unclear job descriptions, while 46 percent cited using out dated method for screening and hiring processes as well as 40 percent of recruiters ignoring the relevance and importance of a good cultural fit. The survey also mentioned that over 70 per cent of hiring managers believe that reference checks are important, only 58 per cent actually conduct reference checks for every applicant.
