Part of the initiation of Integrated Skill Development Scheme (ISDS), nearly 20000 people of Haryana textile sector will get skill training and development during the FY 2015-16 and FY2016-17.

20,000 persons to get skill training in Haryana

This skill development programme will be implemented in seven districts of Haryana such as Panipat, Bhiwani, Hisar, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Ambala and Rohtak. This training will be provided in different sectors like weaving, spinning, knitting, garments, dyeing, block printing, embroidery, handloom and carpet. The training cost would be bear by the Government and duration of the training will be in between 4-6 months. More priority will be given to the candidates of scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, Minorities, Women, school dropouts, persons with disability. The trainees should pay the registration fee of Rs 500 and they will be paid with Rs 1000 after the successful completion of training.
